The case for this stay
Las Ventanas has the warmest staff of any resort I've stayed at — full stop. By day two they knew our coffee order, our kids' names, and which side of the pool we liked.
The rooftop suites are worth the upgrade. Private plunge pool, telescope for whale-watching in season, and a butler who quietly grills carne asada at sunset.
